Faces of Flair

“ If we had Flair with all the travelling we did, it would have helped a lot. ”

Big Dreams. Small Fares.

Flair’s “Faces of Flair” campaign spotlighted elite Canadian athletes and the personal journeys that shaped their rise to the top. The airline tapped into a powerful truth: the path to becoming a professional athlete isn’t just about talent or discipline — it’s about the miles traveled, the sacrifices made, and the support systems that make the dream possible. For many families, the cost of traveling to out-of-city tournaments and competitions is a real barrier, forcing young athletes to chase their dreams alone.

By embracing this emotional and financial reality, Flair positioned itself as an airline committed to making travel more accessible for the next generation of Canadian talent.

Travel should be affordable

We produced two hero spots featuring (now Toronto Raptor) RJ Barrett and Canadian tennis star Felix Auger-Aliassime. Through intimate interviews and cinematic storytelling, each film revealed the lesser-told side of their journeys — the early-morning flights, the long distances from home, and the families who couldn’t always afford to be in the stands. The campaign not only celebrated their accomplishments but highlighted the importance of affordable travel for every young athlete following in their footsteps.
