Manic Pixie proudly partnered with Wesson — a brand that’s been inspiring home cooks for 125 years — to launch its latest campaign, “It Starts with Wesson.”

The idea is simple and universal: so many of the meals we love begin with a splash of oil in the pan. By tapping into this everyday truth, Wesson becomes more than an ingredient — it’s the starting point for family mealtime.

The line “It Starts with Wesson” works as a flexible brand device, able to adapt to different situations and contexts while always anchoring back to the role Wesson plays in the kitchen.

To bring the campaign to life, we developed two engaging TV spots along with a wide mix of out-of-home, social, and digital creative. Rolling out across select U.S. cities this holiday season, the campaign is designed to grab attention, spark inspiration, and remind home cooks everywhere that great meals start here.

At Manic Pixie, we believe true collaboration is the key to creating work that’s both effective and impactful. For this campaign, we partnered closely with Neat Agency on public relations and with Panoply on media strategy. Together with our client, this collaboration allowed us to build a media plan that was both purposeful and highly strategic.

We went beyond traditional advertising, developing channel-specific content tailored for out-of-home, radio, social, and digital platforms. The plan also included innovative grocery partnerships and customized content for Instacart, ensuring the campaign reached consumers in relevant and engaging ways.
